We have a choice in how we go through life. We can be closed-handed, grasping for those things we think are ours, being furious when we don’t get what we think we deserve. Or, we can go through life open-handed, freely sharing what we have with others, with no expectation or agenda.
We can be quick to claim the credit for someone else’ success, or we can be quick to share the credit when we succeed. We can eye others with suspicion because they may take what is ours, or we can be generous with others, sincerely hoping for their welfare. We can be a giver, or we can be a taker. We can choose to hold on tight, or we can choose to freely let go.
