We all communicate every day in thousands of ways–in what we say, or write, or do–but the question is, are we successful in that communication? Meaning, did what we try to communicate actually get understood the way we intended it? Did the message we tried to convey make it through, or did the recipient hear something else?
We can have meetings, and write memos, and send emails all day, but if what we’re trying to say never gets understood, perhaps we should reevaluate how we’re saying it.
