Being the Dumbest Person in the Room

I’ve heard it said that being the dumbest person in the room is a goal every leader should aspire to. Meaning, in an organization, the goal of the leader should be to bring the best and most capable players to the table, not to be the smartest person themselves. This can be challenging, and takes a secure leader to initiate, but as it takes place, the organization actually reaps the benefits, which is ultimately what leadership is all about.
