It’s difficult to learn something that you’re convinced you already know.

If I think I already know all I need to know, the odds of me continuing to learn and grow in that area will decrease. But if I take the posture of a student, and acknowledge that there will always be opportunities to improve and grow, then it will be far easier to learn from the people I meet and the situations I encounter.

By thinking I already know, I’m merely closing my eyes and my ears to the opportunities for growth all around me.
