“I’d love to, but I just don’t have enough time.” This is a common refrain I often hear. And usually it’s right on: we really don’t have enough time to do everything we’d like to do.

But the problem isn’t one of time, as much as it is of focus. No, we don’t have enough time to do everything we’d like to be doing, but we do have enough time to do the few things we ought to be doing. The trick, of course, is clarifying what those few things are at any given time.
