What we do while we wait will affect what we do or don’t accomplish. If we throw in the towel every time something takes longer than we’d like, we won’t accomplish many significant things.

It’s in these times of waiting that we have a choice: will we persevere, or will we start over? Will we do our best and push on, regardless of whether we see immediate results, or will we give up?

Of course it’s a good idea to make sure we really want what’s on the far end of the path we take before we start out. Because if we’re not convinced we really want it when we start, it will be that much easier to move on to something else when visible progress begins to stall.
