There’s a time to rest and a time to work, and both are needed. Work too much and rest too little, and you risk burnout. Rest too much and work too little, and see weakness increase and results diminish.
Both are good; both are necessary. Hard work can help us rest better, and good rest can help us work more effectively. The challenge is knowing when it’s time for one or time for the other, because we can deceive ourselves about what we really need. Sometimes it’s when we’re tired that we should push on, or when we still have a lot to do, that we should take a break.
