Even though the sun is rising earlier each day, over the past couple weeks I’ve noticed that it’s been increasingly difficult to wake up. But I’ve also noticed that once I get moving (literally), it’s much easier to stay awake and get on with the rest of the day.
So, I’ve been adjusting my morning routine to include some physical movement right away. Depending on the weather, it may be a short walk around the neighborhood, or some simple body-weight exercises. Either way, the goal is to get moving early on. Because like many things in life, once you start moving (whether literally or figuratively), it’s much easier to carry on.
