Recently I’ve been thinking about the importance of unity when moving forward.Whether in a marriage, a business venture, a church, or any organization, being able to work together to reach consensus when moving forward is invaluable.
Having a shared vision of the future not only provides direction, but also create energy to move toward that goal. On the other hand, if there is no unity, not only is that energy lost, but below the surface can lurk things like resentment or apathy, affecting not only the relationships on the team but also the work.
Of course, achieving unity can take time—sometimes, a lot of time. But better to take it slow and reap the benefits of moving forward together, than to be hasty, and risk the consequences.
