Just over a year ago I started this blog, planning to stick with it every day for 30 days. I had no idea what I would write about, but decided to go ahead and start. Soon that first month turned into a second, and the second turned into a third, and now it’s a full year later, with 366 consecutive days of posts.
It’s been an enjoyable and positive experience, and I plan to continue to post regularly in the coming year. But in reflecting on my current commitments, I’ve decided to dial back my daily postings (including weekends) to weekdays only.
I’m still committed to writing frequently and regularly (and there may be occasional posts on the weekends), but I also want to see how a slightly altered schedule will affect both the rhythm of my week as well as the quality of my posts.
Tomorrow will be the first planned break since the first post over a year ago. I’ll be back Monday to kick off the first week of posts for 2016.
