Twenty-twenty is officially over, and twenty-twenty-one has begun. And with the change of year, I’m also making a change in employment. As of this week, I’ve officially joined the team at Planning Center and am leaving the University of Notre Dame.
If you’re unfamiliar with Planning Center, it’s a company that builds software products specifically for churches. Over the years, it has grown steadily and now has over sixty-thousand congregations that use its software. Having worked at churches in the past and knowing first-hand the value these kinds of products can provide, I was intrigued by this opportunity, and ultimately decided to make the move.
I enjoyed my time at Notre Dame and have plenty of fond memories from my years there. I’m particularly grateful for all the extraordinary people I was able to work with during that time. It’s sad to say goodbye. But I’m also very excited about the work ahead.
P.S. If you’re part of a church looking for tools to help with scheduling volunteers, organizing services, managing check-ins, handling online giving, or hosting your website or sermon archive, give Planning Center a look.
